Kitchen Cures: Home Remedies for Acne on the Back

- Ground orange peel mixed with water to form a paste is one of the best homeopathic treatments for acne. Apply it daily to affected area and leave on for at least 30 minutes.
- Extract juice of one lemon and mix with 3 teaspoons of cinnamon. Apply liberally to the affected area and let it stay for about half an hour.
- Add 3 teaspoons of dried basil leaves to 1 cup boiling water and let steep for 10-20 minutes. After it cools, apply to affected area with a cotton ball. This is a very effective herbal acne treatment.
- Raw papaya is an excellent acne fighter. Apply the juice and pulp liberally with a cotton ball and leave on overnight.
- An oatmeal mask will thoroughly cleanse your skin and soak up any excess oil. Mix oatmeal with just enough water to make a paste and apply to the affect area and allow to dry for 20 - 30 minutes. Rinse with tepid water.
